I am finally in Florida and excited for new beginnings in terms of the space to write. I am saying no to all other work besides (my family but that goes without saying) and working on writing projects I have been longing to get back to! my newest project is a murder mystery dinner game about a New York City and Jersey competition. This is my “fun” writing, and feels more like self-care than writing. These games are such a reward to play, since they involve laughter and good friends letting their guard down, that the process of working on them lends itself to those kind of vibes. I am also getting started on my book again, Delainey, Explained. I am writing a book for kids who need help dealing with parent mental illness, since there are so many kids who have to deal with this and so few books. More later.
