I suppose it’s no secret that I’m in a bit of a book rut. I am finished with “Emma,” yet again, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Have you ever enjoyed a rut you were stuck in? I think it often happens with good things as well as not so good. In this case, it is the former. I am also, however, reading a kid’s book, E.B. White’s “The Trumpet Swan”. The fabulous daddy swan has soliloquies that make me laugh aloud. Love it! I am also reading my Bible, since I can never get enough of God’s perfect love and wisdom.
I also turning a corner on my creativity and my inner workings, since I will be changing fields officially, yet again. I am going to be writing more and more instead of less and less. I am excited aout that, and also nervous. Who knows how it will go? I know I am ready for a new adventure, that’s for sure. The adventure of books and writing is a quiet, comfortable adventure which is just the sort of pace I like, especially since I am moving out of state and across the country soon. There is a droll familiarity in books that I will depend on in helping me make this transition. I must keep enjoying life, in the ways I know how, serving others, and doing everything I can to have some fun at it all. As the french say, I am looking for bonheur and I find it most in these things. I especially love making others smile, laugh, and feel. I hope you have a good night tonight, wherever you are, whatever you are doing.
